Computer rendering of Cleveland-Cliffs’ proposed US$700 million hot briquetted iron production plant at the Port of Toledo in Ohio. Construction of the plant, which will have a nominal capacity of 1.6 million metric tons, is expected to begin early this year. Midrex Technologies has been selected to design, engineer and procure the core equipment.
